What can i add to stop Kirkland minoxidil itching?

I get a really itchy scalp. its weird because the skin is healthy with no flaking, but if i scratch my head it burns/itches in that area for hours.
I think it might be the minoxidil, ive been on Kirkland for well over 3 years and ive had this problem about a year now.
Should i switch brands? Or is there something i can add to my regime to stop the itching?
I've started applying the minoxidil to my upper neck to see if it is the minoxidil causing it, i dont think anything else could be doing it.

the itch is due to male pattern baldness inflammation. Without finasteride you will continue to get this itchy sensation.

Shower at least once a day. Deeply scrub your scalp with a good shampoo.
