What are these red strings/spots on my scalp?

Below are the pictures I took from a USB microscope. My head has been itchy forever and I don't know if these spots are related. I do use a shampoo scalp scrubber so it could be scarring from that but it looks like it's underneath the scalp?

Any ideas?

Were you having dandruff issues? And as of late, have you been shedding a lot more hairs than usual?

Hey TDE97, I have been having dandruff issues so I shaved my hair in order to get directly to the scalp and use tea tree oil with Selsun Blue to address it. My scalp over the last couple of years has been VERY oily where it was not before along with itching. I've been shedding a lot over the last couple of years. I've been shedding a lot of hair consistently.

Then it is possible that you have male pattern baldness at a mild rate since it has been happening for a few years. You should seek a hair specialist for further clarification on your scalp condition. Is your hairline, temples and density still remain intact?
