My crown has been thinning for a while now, theres a massive circular shape where the crown/vertex has been thinning, and my temples have been thinning too (though not yet receeded 
). I've been on Fincar for 1 and 1/2 months now and same with Nizoral.
I was on minoxidil on/off for about 4 months (with 3 of those being irregular applications and often just once a day and 1 month being proper, though I don't know how much it helped) but I stopped it because it was f*****g up my scalp and making it ridiculously flaky (however I might start the foam soon.)
Anyways, from the back view you can clearly see the horseshow pattern that will eventually be there, as in you can see a rim of hair thats darker/thicker under and around the crown. However today I was looking at it and noticed just under my thinning crown theres a weird oval shaped like bald sorta patch..I mean there is hair there but it seems very lighter or thinner than the rest of my crown and it just looks out of place? I havent cut my hair recently or anything that could of caused it and Im pretty sure male pattern baldness doesnt just randomly give you these oval patches. Come to think of it, my hair is just looking very patchy in general, I understand Im diffuse thinning but this seems very random.
Is it normal to see something like this?
