Ok, im 19 losing my hair and freaking out. I started losing hair 2 years back on the temples and was like no biggie Harvey Specters got no hair over there i'm fine. But now I'm starting to see it thin more and more. I took a buzzer and shaved the thinning part and it makes a perfect V shape. Like Philip Defrancos hairline. I have no balding in my family so I guess I got screwed over when it comes to the balding gene. Now I don't want to mess with those scary drugs so naturally, I go to hair transplant. But to my surprise, they won't perform it till your 25 since you can lose more hair. So what I came up with is I shave it down wear a weave till it I go completely bald. Then I can get the transplant at 25. Is this a good idea? I am currently very sick and took a bunch of cough syrup. So I'm not sure if this really is a good idea or not.

Why don't you rock that buzz cut for awhile? Maybe you'll like it! If your hair is not too thin your barber can still do a cool look man!
Or why don't you try minoxidil?? It doesn't mess with your hormones...

But hey, If you hate your hair that short or thin, then sure go for it! Invest in a good hair system and no one will know.. But having a system comes with some maintenance so be prepared for that..

About the transplant, doctors normally don't want to perform on a guy who's actively balding because by the time your transplanted hair grows you have thinned out more so the result will not be good... They want for you to wait for your male pattern baldness to stabilize before doing anything... So if you hit 25 and still actively balding they will give you crap about it to! I'm 26 and no doctor will do a transplant on me because Im not bald enough and didn't stabilize my hair loss yet...

Another thing is that if you hit 25 and your male pattern baldness stabilized but you're like a nw6...... Unless you have a super donor area and super thick hair than don't have big expectations ... And you'll need multiple transplants in order to achieve anything similar to a full head of hair...

The good news is that if you're just 19 than most likely when you're 25 tsuji will be available for you :D I wish i was your age!
