Watching masterchef and chef marcus wareings mop baffles me lol. His temple points are all but gone and looking at his younger pics looks a cert for a high norwood. But seemingly in his current older pics his hair hasnt changed at all. Meds or just a weird hairline?

Actor Patrick McGoohan had similar odd hair pattern:

But I don't know about Marcus. Almost looks like transplant or highly professional wig.

Both those guys could have just been born with shitty hairlines. I was. I have a giant forehead. Has nothing to do with balding although i have lost a bit at the corners in the past 10 years I'm now growing back.

That's why I've got an expander in and I'm doing forehead reduction.

Some of us just never had good hairlines to begin with.

Sounds pretty scary, but the result is amazing

That picture was of a case done without an expander. It would have been a single stage reduction. Ie. Just one single surgery to bring the hairline down all at once on one day.

Single stage is possible when you only need 2-3 cm reduction and/or your scalp is loose. Women tend to have looser scalps.

In my case i need around 3.5 cm reduction and i have a tight scalp so the expander was the only way to do it properly.

It's been okay so far. I've lived through far worse. I'd go through a hundred surgeries like that if i could become good looking at the end. Being ugly is worse than a few days of surgical pain or a few months of inconvenience from inflating a balloon in your head.

Ive seen hairline reductions. They work well as scar is along hairline and ens results r good. My wuestion though.. what happens if your hairlije receeds and your left with scar showing along hairline? Wouldnt that be a nightmare???

This why surgeons often dont do it on males

Pic is over posted.

There are reasons why this surgery is not viable outside of the immediate results.

For baldies..... the professor nature of hairloss and ugly scar that sits at the front. Worse then a fut scar

Agreed i would never do it for fear of receeding past the scar. The thought of it would send shivers down you

hair loss comes in all forms, from full blown horse shoe to a fully dense NW2. I don't know why this is so surprising.

That's why i was having panic attacks two months ago after i got the expander put in and realized i was losing ground on Ru. That's why i went on spironolactone, then cypro, and now daro.

I have zero concern about it on daro now since I'm growing back to a nw1 and daro is the strongest thing on the planet.

But if i were to recede (hypothetically) i would do transplants as long as i could, then switch to a wig eventually. I can't shave my head either way as i have a shitty head shape.

Progressive nature *

Women , maybe. But would most likely require a scar revision in the future. Followed by fue on the scar
