I think this site should put up a warning about scam products such as provillus. I know that they already blocked procer*n from anyone typing it but i sometimes try to search for different hair products such as prox-n and remox and such. It seems like every time i type anything into google related to hair loss something from provillus comes up telling the "truth about minoxidil" or the "truth about propecia, spironolactone etc, etc..". Its f*****g ridiculous.

I mean i realize they are a scam and they won't fool experienced posters but its the people just starting to lose their hair who see these f*****g ads all over the place and figure that if its all over the internet it must be true. It happened to me about 3 years ago when i first started noticing thinning, i got caught up in a scam product and didnt realize that it wasn't doing jack until 2 years later when i kept thinning. Luckily for me i foun this site and am on the big 3, but seriously, this bullshit provillus must be raking in the cash from taking advantage of people first starting to lose their hair and don't know much about hair loss treatments.

Maybe blocking the word "provillus" will help out, i'm so sick of seeing their bullshit ads everywhere.

i should add that although some people might blame the individual for getting suckered into this stuff, there are "impartial" web pages set up all over the internet by provillus that "ranks" hair loss treatments, always giving rave reviews about provillus, so its extremely easy to see how people can get scammed.

They seem to rely on Saw Palmetto most of all along with heaps and heaps of biotin. You're right, it's certainly not a proven treatment. I think the most important thing to do though is encourage people to try the big three. There are so many suspect 'remedies' out there though it's hard to warn people about them all.
