Wanting to start finasteride, will the length of the hair make my shedding worse?

Hi guys,

I want to start finasteride. As you can see my hairline is pretty bad, considering I'm only 22.

I've read that my hair will shed. My aim is I want to grow my hair longer and keep it as long as I can. Will the shedding make my hair look crazy bad? Will I end up shedding long hairs all over the place?

I mean having longer hair will most likely make you notice the shedding more.

I had long hair during my first shed, but luckily for me my hair is very wavy so people couldn't even tell I lost any density. I don't know about yours though.

Remember that if you do go through a rough shed the hair will grow back. Finasteride is better than nothing at all.
