well i noticed that a lot of people who have tanned skin (from the sun) are not bald. thats why almost all the time when you see bald people, they have light white skin, and thats why you can really see the contrast of their bald spot and the darkl crown of hair. maybe its the vitamin d, that people get from the sun that the rest of us arent getting.

I'm usually real tan so count that one out, lol.

Biotin, Zinc, MSM can all help hair growth rate.

I'm a tan Californian (a regular swimmer and kayaker), so you can count that out.

As for supplements, I take several... but if someone asked me to narrow down my supplement suggestion to one supplement that I think everyone should be taking, it would be a good B-complex supplement.

This has nothing to do with genetic hairloss.

But as far as taking good supplements go, I've been taking Men's One-A-Day Active for as long as I can remember. It's good stuff.

Just recently I switched to Kirkland One-A-Day (Compare to Centrum), and it's alright.

As others have said, vitamin/mineral supplements wont stop Androgenetic Alopecia... However, having said that, I like to take a multi-vitamin daily along with an omega 3/5/9 supplement.

One of the healthiest men I've ever seen was Dr. Norman Walker. He invented the portable, electric juicing machine.

His diet was the diet of an extreme health "nut". I could only imagine following his diet.

He lived to over 100 years old but was a Norwood 7. (If there was a Norwood 8, I'd say he was at that level!)

On the other hand, that wacko Gary Null says you can regrow your hair with a great diet. I think he's nuts but what the heck do I know! :hairy:

IMHO, the best thing for your diet is obviously eating good whole food and using a juicer as a supplement. (You see, I'm a wacko also!!)

Immortal Hair at Regrowth.com has alot of suggestions for supplements.

Are you taking all these supplements to fight male pattern baldness or to just "supplement" your diet?
