Vinyl Gloves For Applying Minoxidil/Rogaine?

I've been using solely minoxidil (in the form of Rogaine for men) ever since my Propecia panic in late August, though I'm noticing...the foam which turns to liquid, is easily absorbed by my finger tips...not sure if regular minoxidil did this or not. I've not touched regular old minoxidil for a year, but from what I can recall it just leaves my fingers wet..not wrinkly soaked.

And that is what Rogaine's doing, giving me grandpa fingertips showing that it's getting absorbed there. To prevent that the only thing I can think of is using vinyl gloves to rub in the stuff, but I'm not sure if this is a good idea. What do you guys think? I mean the only thing that might make this bad is if the foam liquid reacts in some way with the glove, or it affects the regimen.

Anyone else here use any kind of gloves so their fingers don't get soaked up by their minoxidil?

So you would be using vinyl gloves to protect your fingers from a substance that you are applying directly to your head???

And? Just because it's supposed to be applied to your head doesn't mean you'd necessarily want it anywhere else. After all this isn't completely natural and has side effects (increases blood rate IIRC) and generally you'd want this to be absorbed the least amount of possible anywhere where there isn't hair loss (in places you don't care not having hair in).

Besides it makes my fingertips uncomfortable as well as wrinkly for a while. As for my question, I guess you don't know if you should recommend it or not. Hopefully someone else can.

-Edit- Wanted to say also that even on the product manual it says "if you use hands to apply, wash hands immediately" indicating this stuff is not good for the hands, but is ok if you'll wash your hands off quickly, but, the way I put on rogaine takes a damn long while (I part several rows on my head) and even frequent hand washes doesn't fix the problem.

I use rubber gloves to apply the foam and also the rods with cotton (for ears cleaning) to disperse it under my hair .
