Vertex Balding or Natural Whorl?

Freaking out over this. Recently my friend has been going bald VERY quickly, perhaps that has made me more paranoid about my own hair. Anyway, I've always had pretty thick hair, and the hair around my "whorl" feels kind of wierd, sort of curlier and itchier.

Is it early male pattern baldness vertex balding or is it just my natural whorl that I never really payed attention to before?

If it is male pattern baldness I want to CRUSH it extremely early. That's why I'm posting.

Thanks all.

Hairline is fine btw, perhaps even slightly feminine (concave corners).

All males on father's side have male pattern baldness, all males on mother's side don't.

I totally have the same thing still at age 36 and I was too freaking out because I thought, "oh no, here it goes" but my barber and my dermatologist actually said that it's just a part in your hair and not male pattern baldness at all. I have a cowlick going on by my whorl so it does all kind of insane stuff. But sorry enough about me, again I think your hair looks great & definitely don't worry.
