Humans evolved with the paleolithic diet. We are omnivores.

INTRODUCTION TO THE PALEOLITHIC DIET

Dr. Ben Balzer, family physician

There are races of people who are all slim, who are stronger and faster than us. They all have straight teeth and perfect eyesight. Arthritis, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, stroke, depression, schizophrenia and cancer are absolute rarities for them. These people are the last 84 tribes of hunter-gatherers in the world. They share a secret that is over 2 million years old. Their secret is their diet- a diet that has changed little from that of the first humans 2 million years ago, and their predecessors up to 7 million years ago. Theirs is the diet that man evolved on, the diet that is coded for in our genes. It has some major differences to the diet of "civilization".

Given that we only learned to cook 400,000 years ago and we've existed for millions, 95% of our genes are adapted for raw food

You also need to consider the fact that our paleolithic cousins also lived to an average age of 35.

Dying at 35 would certainly do wonders to reducing the hairloss situation that men face... but the only down side is, well, that you only live to 35...

yeah but a lot of guys here are balding their early 20s. i'd be happy to keep my hair til 35.

the vegan diet effect on the prostate is a very revealing fact for me.

Vegetarians also go bald.

Trans-fats are much worse than saturated fats. Humans need to eat a certain amount of fat to survive. :freaked: :freaked: :freaked:

yeah, good fats, saturates are good as long as they are not cooked. cooking changes their molecular structure.

flax oil, GLA, raw coconut are healthy

its time for me to walk the talk tho. I'll be sure to take pictures.

It would be interesting to see long term vegetarians and there counts of male pattern baldness. No matter though everyone should be eating healthy diet for there health not there hair. You can eat broccoli everyday forever you will still go bald if you dont step in with science.

I'm a veggie.

If anything, the lack of iron and oily fish in vegetarian diets probably would be bad for the hair...

I am a strict vegetarian (only take milk), went to NW6 by 27 or 28.

For its worth, I believe pure vegetarian food lacks protein which can hurt hair or even accelerate male pattern baldness.
