Hi

I've just bought my first bottle of Tricomin spray. For those who use it, do you spray it all over your head or concentrate on the thinning areas?

also, how often do you use it and is twice a day OK?

thanks for any advice

I've been using it for over a year and I have found the best balance between effectiveness/overuse being exactly once a day before bed (and then shower in the morning). I spray it all over but concentrate on thin areas and massage it everywhere. I apply it together with emu oil and that has been working quite well. i found that when I used it twice a day my hair just felt dirty/gooky; but doing it like this is perfect.

thanks. It's damn expensive so I might apply it once a day too.

Do you massage it in with your fingers after you've sprayed? It doesn't say to do that in the instructions but I guess it should help.

have you noticed any regrowth?

It's Copper peptides which may help to stimulate growth

does it have any of the same side effects as minoxidil? how about shedding?

i am a diffuse thinner and have alot of small 'peach fuzz' hairs/small dark hairs but have been reluctant to try the big three in fear of side effects and continued dependence.

spectral dnc-L has this also in a mix of :

- minoxidil 5%
- phytosterol 5a-reductase inhibitor (saw palmetto , flax seed)
- procyanidin B-2 and C-1
- vitamin & mineral complex
- copper peptides
- herbal extracts (ivy , hops,..)
- adenosine
- aminexil
- arginine
- retinol

not a bad product

I've read that Tricomin can cause temporary shedding as the new hairs come through.

Don't be too scared about the side effects of Finasteride - they only occur in a tiny percentage of users, but lots of people on the net like to spread scaremongering stories.
