Using Rogaine on entire head?

I have been reading this forum and thought I would join to ask this question. Im 18 and for a few years now have been insisting that my hair was coming out more than it should. My parents and the woman who has cut my hair for the same time said nothing. Over the past few months some have commented that it has gotten bad on the crown (It is really thin and close to becoming a bald spot at the rate it has been going) and I went to my Dr. He recommended propecia which I got. I am also using rogiane.

Now will using rogaine on the front of the head have any benefit? I cannot figure out based on what people have said if it will or not? My front is even close to being as bad as my crown but it has become like my crown was when I first started losing it. Will it give any benefits?

Thanks in advance

I read somewhere that it works on some guys, but not on others. You should try it and see what happens. Maybe it will work and you'll be telling others about your incredible success.

Also would it be bad to take both at the same time since I just started? I did this because I have read that rogaine regrows hair while propecia only stops it from coming out. I have only been using minoxidil for 4 days.

I have no personal experience with hair loss treatment as I just buzz my hair instead. I don't really have the money to buy products like Rogaine because I'm a student. Anyway, I have read posts where people say they take the 'big three', so I guess that means they take them all at the same time. It sounds like you should be fine with taking both at the same time. Propecia will keep your hair as it is, whilst Rogaine will possibly grow some back.
