Hi there,
I was using rogain liquid 5% for about 9 months with semi positive results. About 4 to 5 months ago i changed to rogain foam and possibly noticed a marginal improvement. About 1 month ago i started using Dr Lee's 5%topical spironolactone combined with the foam.
My usual practice is to put the foam all over the top of my head then apply the topical spironolactone once the foam has been spread over my head. From reading the info on Dr Lee's website it seems he advises to use rogain liquid then after a while apply the topical spironolactone once the liquid has dried slightly.
Does it make any difference to the order these products are applied?
Do others use topical spironolactone and foam? If so what practice do you use?
Part of me thinks that as the foam is greasier then it helps the head absorb the spironolactone over a longer period of time thus proving a longer time period that spironolactone is inhibiting dht for. How valid would this thought be.
Sometimes at night i apply my foam and spironolactone at the same time then after about half an hour apply some rogain liquid so that the spironolactone can absorb over a longer period o ftime. Is this a waste or useful??
Thought and reccomendations much appreciated.
Cheers
