using Avodart along with a antibiotic called minocycline..

Hi there,

I am a newbee here. I'm 23 and have been using avodart for about 5 months now. Recently i seem to be loosing hair so i thought i would do some further research into dutasteride. From opinions on here it seems like i'm going through a shedding stage. (hopefully not for too long)

Anyway i have acne and have been taking a antibiotic called minocycline 100mg a day for about 9 months and just wondered if this had any effect on dutasteride to do its work?

Also i have noticed my sex drive to have decreased. Is this normal with everyone?

i used to take that but it was about ten years ago now. i dont have the feintest idea how it works or whether it would impede dutasteride. maybe ask your doctor.

it did clear my acne up though to some degree eventually. took at least a year to have an effect.
