Using a 80 degree C hair straightener on synthetic hair

I went to a 110 degree sauna with my wig and damaged it. A few strands are impossible to style now -- they just hang in one place all the time. Would using a low-temperature hair straightener be good to restyle them? Or should I just use a special hair spray? Thank you!
