Update on my regimen.

Well ladies, it's been one month since I popped my first Dutasteride pill, and things are looking pretty mediocre. Which is definitely a good thing. I have noticed absolutely no change in anything since I started. Also no change in my hairline or crown either.

While on my previous regimen (5% minoxidil 1ml twice daily, 1-2.5mg finasteride daily, 320-640mg saw palmetto extract, 5% spironolactone cream... and whatever else I found in the medicine cabinet) yeilded absolutely no results, and I noticed my hair deteriorating by the month. I've since dropped the spironolactone and the saw palmetto to see how well the dutasteride works on it's own.

All in all my word for the new regimen is "I don't know what the hell is going on". So I'll let you know when I know.

how long were you on finasteride and minoxidil? i hope it works for me. i'm going to stick it out a year

I was on finasteride for about 10 months with hardly even a drop in my libido throughout the process. 6 months on merck brand and 3 on cipla brand with a one month lapse in the middle. Been on minoxidil for about a full year though.
