Dear HairlossTalk Community Members -

First off I want to thank everyone for continuing to make this website the best online community out there. The way you all help eachother out on a daily basis is a community service in itself, making this world a better place. Kudos to all of you for putting out the effort.

As you may have noticed, the site has not had many changes or updates in the last several months, but what has been going on behind the scenes has been unbelievably eventful. We've coordinated and almost finished several new features for the site that will be going live soon, and just today we restored several forum features which we hope you will take advantage of.

If you check your profiles on here, you'll see a "Regimen" option which translantes to a "Regimen" button on all your posts. You can use this (instead of your signature) to tell people what you use daily. Try hovering over someone's Regimen button to see what I mean.

Of course Avatars and other things have been restored as well. Lots more to come. The forums are being monitored daily, and we've got several teams of programmers working on new features.

We have a brand new Chat Room which we hope you will take advantage of, and we will begin hosting weekly chats in it like we did when HairlossTalk was a brand new site.

Guys do me a huge favor - Help out the moderators here by posting Finasteride/Propecia topics in the Propecia forum. Same with Dutasteride. Same with Minoxidil and rogaine - please help us keep everything in the proper forums. I know its a teeny weeny bit of effort to scroll down a little (use that finger muscle - you can do it!) but if things get posted improperly we'll end up moving them anyways, and then you wont know where your topics are.

Again please notify me if you see any blatant ads for anything as well.

Thanks much guys and good luck with your regimens.

I seem unable to update my regimen...when I pull up my profile there is no option available. Maybe I'm half asleep and just can't find it but......

Thanks for the heads-up. It seems that we've got some bug fixing to attend to. Will be done today.

I guess you wont have these bugs if you pay your developers some finasteride along with the under that table Rogaine :)

I know....stretching it...

this site is increadibly slow, taking 2 minutes to open every link with broad band, and I can open google search pages in seconds. Is it just my computer or is this just a very popular, overloaded site?

and half my good posts get "no post mode specified", and i often don't feel like re-writing a long but good idea after I get that. I try to save my work in notepad before each post, but sometimes I don't because they usually go through.

Takes me less than a second. Something must be wrong with your computer.

This forum for me is always the fastest of any forums I have ever used. It will go down once a month or so for a little while but comes back up quickly. Pages are always loaded instantly, which is amazing to me for the 10000+ registered users and the bandwidth it must take up to run!

OK, i'll check my connection and computer. i downloaded netscape, and it was even slower than internet explorer. i can surf google.com fast, but half or 1/3 of the pages open slowly. This site opens fast on the school computers, though.
