Unoriginal Experiement With minoxidil

Well, I am thinking of doing a trial run with minoxidil, but not on the full head. I want to isolate it to the hairline since that's my greatly needed area. From what I take of it, minoxidil works just where you apply it and no other area? Would shedding be isolated to that area as well? Thanks gents.

From my experience and from opinion of doctors, minoxidil doesn't work very well in the hairline.
It qorks a little, but it olny produces many vellus hairs, and very few of them get terminal. It doesn'r make very big difference.
minoxidil is for crown.
If you really want your hairline back, the only serious option is hair transplant.
