Uneven hairline? Mature hairline or male pattern baldness start?

The thing is I am young. Tremendously young, I might add. I am just 15, and yet I fear. I have noticed that one of the corners of my hairline has gone up. It is not extremly noticeable, though I bet all of you would detect my uneven hairline at first glance, for people that do not suffer from balding I bet it would be almost unnoticeble. My question is: has balding started for me or is it just my hairline maturing? I head that it is a fairly common thing for men's hairline to recede to some extent during late teens or early-20s, and then just stop. Could you give me a hand, guys?

your situation is very very similar to mines, and i'm only 2 years older than you, but my widow's peak is not as noticeable as yours. if you want to be safe, take finasteride. however see a doctor before doing this, as you're still in puberty i think. in the mean time, you could apply minoxidil while you wait. remember that prevention is almost always better than cure(hair transplants).
also do you have any balding or bald relatives?

Oh, what I would do for a hairline like that. I think youre fine for now, definitely nothing to lose sleep over. You've definitely got a widows peak like Colin Farrell, but thats NOT an indication of hair loss. Just monitor your hairline overtime. Find a birth mark or something to reference with photos and see if hairs are getting smaller and smaller at the hairline.

At 15, youre too young to go on any DHT inhibitors unless of course CB-03-01 had an effective vehicle. Finasteride should be out of the question for you. Minoxidil (Rogaine) I think would scare the crap out of you if you saw how badly some people shed from it.

Yes, its normal to exhibit hair loss in your teens/early twenties. I started losing my hairline in my early twenties.

Also, be aware that there is NO cure and only TWO treatments available (finasteride and minoxidil) that aren't guaranteed to work either.

Yes, I am aware of my Widow's Peak - it has been like that from when I was young -. Also, that's one of my bigggest fears: If I happen to be balding, there is probably nothing I can do for at least 3-4 years since both Finasteride and Rogaine are +18 medicine.

My father is 45 and has full head of hair (you can see it's quite thinner that it probably was when he was younger) and his hairline is about NW1 or NW2. Aside from him, I have one uncle that is bald and one grandfather that is also bald, but he started balding late-30s. That's why all these hair problems have caught me by surprise: I had never expected it.
Oh, yes, I have seen your topic (Am I losing it?) and yes, it seems we have a fairly similar hairlines.

Now, what is the possibility of it being just a mature hairline? Does anybody have any insights?

There's no way of telling what the future holds for you. Finasteride and Minoxidil are nothing more than just hopeful preventative measures. Outside of that.... basically, you're screwed. And this is where the anger and frustration sets in, that nobody has done anything successful to reverse hair loss completely and those that have tried have failed miserably, all the while balding men are continued to be disrespected and humiliated by society while it being actually ACCEPTED to do so towards men but not to women with hair loss. DAFUQ?!

There's a lot to be worried and pissed off about.

only time will tell - if you see miniaturization beyond your hairline (like i have) , it's likely that you're losing it, as i have been told by my derm. you could be lucky and not express baldness though. again, only time will tell.
