Had trouble (that is, maybe I´m too lazy) finding good reviews on this so here goes:

1. Is it true that minoxidil with retin-a need only be applied once daily?
One study claims it gave similar results as a twice daily application of minoxidil, but then again Dr. Lee says on his website that it should be applied at night, and then minoxidil without retin- a should be put in in the morning...

2. azelaic acid; does it really work? I mean, I too know about the in- vitro study, yadayada, but what are peoples experiences?

It should only be used at night since its dark then. Here is a quote from the FAQ:
"Retinoic acid is degraded by strong light, so there is no benefit to using it during the day, when the bright light will render the medication ineffective."

And what azelaic acid in vitro study do you know about? One with azelaic acid alone or the one containing 2 other ingredients(dont remember wich one... B6 and something?)?

I could wear a hat....? Yeah, but, once every night would do? Or, do as well as twice a day without retin- a?

Azelaic acib and b6, yeah. Compared with zinc, I think. It´s basically the only azelaic acid study on alpha 5 reductase inhibition...
