Trouble Figuring Out Norwood And Some Other Newbie Stuff

Hi all. About to be 32 and have been using Rogaine foam semi consistently since 2012. No way of knowing how effective it's been, but over the last few months I've really notice my hairline receding. I've also noticed my overall head hair is both thinning out (you can see my scalp) and the thickness of the actual hair is very fine. So I've added fibers to my routine.

But I'd like to be proactive. My first thought was a transplant, but after doing a ton of research, it might be best to start with Propecia, which I'm about to start. So I've taken some beginning photos, and had a few questions: For someone in my situation, what can I expect in terms of results? There is so much out there that it's hard to know who to trust.

Also am I some sort of 2 on the Norwood?

Thanks!

Your hair loss is a lot like mine was.
I would say Norwood 2.5-3.
Regaining the hairline is very unlikely but sounds like you're taking the right steps.
Finasteride, minoxidil and nizoral shampoo for a year then reassess.
You should at least thicken up the remaining hairs.
Think about transplant after a year so you know where you stand.

I also used Minoxidil 2y and then lost ground. Adding finasteride did not much to me in 8 month.... Wish you good luck.

After a half year break where I lost even more, I am back on it. I recommend you zinc seems like a good idea to prevent sides.
