Hi everyone, new here and just had a question. I'm taking baby steps in my fight against hairloss and I started using Nizoral OTC 2 or 3 times a week. It didn't seem to make matters worse so I've continued taking it now for several months. I then ordered Tricomin and after a month my hair is much much worse!!!! I've lost the equivalent in one month what I lost all last year! Just wanted to see if anyone else experienced this and if so is it natural (as in some sort of shedding phase?) Bit worried that if I stop now not sure what will happen. Just wanted to see what everyone here thought before I continue taking it. Thanks!

Not sure if there are that many people using it here. But looking at the ingredients I would not hold up many hopes to stop hair loss.

I would use finasteride.... tried and tested by most people on this board.

I'm not convinced that this product will help you. You need to focus on blocking dht. This is the only way to stop your hair loss.

Anytime you introduce a product that can have an effect on the growth or resting cycles of the follicle, like Tricomin has been well established to do .... you will see a large # of follicles go into dormancy. Yes, this is a temporary shed. The hairs are not dead nor lost, they will grow back in in several months. Your best bet is to stick with one regimen for a minimum of 6 to 12 months and dont modify it.

Though I'd add my 2 cents. I've been on Tricomin 3 weeks and it has made my scalp feel a lot better, with no shedding. Its too early to tell though wether it will grow back any hair for me.

Overall, I would highly reccomend it to anyone.
