It has been said that Tricomin has the same effects of growing hair as rogaine 2%..
does this mean that Tricomin could cause inital hair loss similar to rogaine?

I think that comparison to 2% rogaine was for nizoral 2%, not Tricomin. But copper peptides have definitely been shown to help grow hair, not sure on what scale though. But no, you shouldn't shed.

Tricomin has never been compared to Minoxidil in the way you describe. I think youve mistaken Tricomin for Nizoral which was found to be as effective as 2% Nizoral. As to the shedding question I doubt copper peptide treatments would cause a shed. They seek to maximise scalp health and therefore minimise hairloss, so it is unlikley they would induce a shed.
