Tricomin and zinc shampoo/topicals

If copper competes with zinc in the diet (an overdose of one leads to a deficiency in the other) - does it on the scalp, too?

I use Head & Shoulders shampoo and conditioner (on Nizoral off-days), which has (pyrithione) zinc. I also use Tricomin.

Could the zinc in the shampoo and conditioner interfere with the copper peptides in Tricomin? Would it lessen (or negate) its effectiveness?
