Treatments for older men

I'm 56yo and considering treatment for thinning hair for the first time. I have a fair amount of hair left on top but have receeded some and thinned some. I have a 2" diameter fairly bald spot on the crown. I've heard Propecia doesn't work well on older men. Is anything worth starting at my age? Any advice would be appreciated.

If your really concerned, talk to a dermatologist who is experianced in dealing with male pattern baldness. Consider possible treatments like finasteride or minoxidil. Maybe consider some other alternatives like saw palmeto. I say expererment try diets etc. Give everything a go and Good luck!
