Traveling With Minoxidil - Some Questions About It

I might be traveling soon, perhaps to China. Will I be able to take minoxidil (liquid or foam - any) with me in my carry on/hand baggage? Is there anything that I should know when traveling with it? Thanks.

Carry on it will have to be within the restricted size limit for a liquid, will probably have to check in a bag
