Traction and Pressure Alopecia?

Read the former exists, but the second one...is something I heard from my dad.

Well traction alopecia to my knowledge is when the hairs are tightly pulled back and are like that for a long time, minimizing the follicles in the long run, for some reason.

However I heard also that there's something called pressure alopecia where force is applied to an area of the scalp (that is affected by male pattern baldness or not) like lying against the wall, and the follicles diminish that way also, although very very slightly even with time, and if done on an area that is affected by male pattern baldness it would probably show more (though the last part is my theory).

I was going to ask if the latter type exists and from a google result I confirmed it does. However last year I was doing this research and found...nothing, or close to that. So, my first question is discarded.

My second one was regarding my frequent combing-of-the-temples habit. As you should know, I am affected in the crown area and the temples (as in beginning to thin there, it was like this for about 2 years) and those areas are generally more itchy then the rest of my head, but my temples are by far the itchiest areas, so what I do is I frequently comb that area with a comb that can scratch well! And it feels good...anyway, I would say that this combing may be doing a little bit of both to worsen my temples. :(

And this is the point of this thread. My combing/scratching to a desired level, I feel may be exerting pressure by having the hairs pulled (a little, since my hair is kind of curly) and by scratching the scalp, it's pushing down on my scalp, somewhat.

Basically I want to know if anyone thinks this may create any noticeable difference, at all. Thanks.
