Tracking Hair Loss, More Left Temple Recession Than Right?

Recently I noticed that my left temple is recessed more than my right. My temples are not that far off from where my original hairline used to be like 1-2 years ago but they're definitely more pronounced and look like a Norwood 1.5 or 2. Idk.
Thoughts?

@Armando Jose made the discovery last year, that hair loss is typically asymmetric. Apparently, for most people, the right side recedes faster.

That is the case for me, and I'm right handed.

As far as I know there is no explanation.

Your hair still looks fantastic, but yes the one side seems to be receding slightly more than the other. It is fairly unusual for hairline recession to be completely symmetrical.

Could it be maturing? I've heard that it might be considering my grandfather had the exact same hair for 50+ years.

Yeah it could stop receding. Impossible to tell. That's what I thought was going to happen with my hairline as there is almost no hair loss in my family, then male pattern baldness kicked in hydro-gear out of nowhere. Safest bet is to jump on finasteride, but ultimately its a game of luck and its up to you.

No doubt, your hair receding seems unusual and in future this would become a serious concern for you. So, its better to find a right solution with this kind of problem. Follow some certain diet plans and exercise in life.

Once side receding more than the other is normal, for me it's the right side.

noway near a 2, NW1.5 max. hairline looks very good to me.
