I have been wondering about addressing the testosterone and the DHT that dutasteride doesnt suppress... Really fighting Androgens on 2 fronts with oral and topical. I dont have a lot of faith in topical azelaic acid, as there are not in vivo/ clinical studies to show efficacy. But, spironolactone has a few promising animal studies... And blocks DHT. And blocks/converts Testosterone to estrogens.

?anyone have any personal experience with topical spironolactone
along with minoxidil? Success?
?does it really stink after exercise?
? how are you using it... timing, lotion?
?Is dr. Lee's product the best? he has an odorless lotion, and a more
affordable (quick drying) topical?

Thanks for any comments...

As I have posted before, I use spironolactone DIY, in my regimen after minoxidil, meaning 2 crushed 25 mg tablets dissolved in glycerin and squirted on the frontal area with a minoxidil dropper (I attempt to do this twice daily). One drawback is its tendency to weigh the hair down. It also has a tendency to smell of skunk cannabis, but only really to people who come up close. And you never know.. this might increase your street cred.

: ) .... Um, I dont think weighed down hair and an odor of cannabis will help me at work... Ill probably stick to the dr. Lee's cream, as it is the only way to avoid the odor, if its that noticable (Like he needs more money : (

Ha... That's pretty funny. I'm a student, so I guess i can get away with it. My mother is getting very suspicious, however. She thinks I'm dealing or something.
