for all those who use topical spironolactone(preferably dr.lee's 5%) and do claim there is a smell, how long does the smell last? can you wash it of, say 5-10 hours later if you were to use it only at night?

I've been using Dr Lee's topical 5% spironolactone cream for months and it does not smell at all.

I'm not sure it works either.

studies have shown it to be a fairly potent anti-androgen(67% of dht's affinity for androgen receptors). so it will help, but how much it'll help any given individual is unknown.

cool stuff about the smell. ordered lee's 5% cream yesterday. will combine it with some of immortalhair's regimen and maybe minoxidil once a day. should at least slow down my already slow hairloss.

It's one of the only things I can use on my head without it drying out a lot.

I only use spironolactone cream and Tricomin at the moment after some regrowth on the big 3 but unfortunatley I had to stop becuase of sides.
