Topical spironolactone instead of finasteride? (I'm only 18)

Hey Hairlosstalk,

I want to get on the big 3 but I don't think I should get on finasteride yet, I want to have a full beard first - and I'm only 18. I'm aiming to start with finasteride when I'm about 20 or 21.

If I combine with Keto (which I'm already using) and minoxidil (which I plan on using soon) will using topical spironolactone give me some more time? At least a couple of years before I get on finasteride.

All help is appreciated.

i'm 18 too n have faced no side effects with finasteride. Dunno abt topical spironolactone..

finasteride is not damn dangerous as its been hyped man Yeah you can get Erectile dys. Or gyno but those things are not like gonna happen overnight.....And you will catch them considering you are a bit scared otherwise you wouldn't have posted here......We might not know who you are but we share the grief....... Try for about 1 mg to 1.50 mg everyday for a month or two and if you get sides then go for about ever other day and if still get sides.....Then i am sorry
And you can try Topical spironolactone but if you have long hair then GOOD LUCK.....Just don't OVERTHINK IT.....Google placebo effect
