Topical spironolactone a good propecia alternative?

I'm using minoxidil and nizoral. After 2 attempts at starting propecia I have decided not to use it as it was effecting my mood and libido.
Should I get on topical spironolactone as a potential alternative?

Useless in comparaison to propecia, and invisible in comparaison to dutasteride

The only reason anyone still uses propecia is because there are no good alternatives. Something like CB or RU would be, but they are not finished products so they are dangerous. Im not sure what the alternatives would be
