This anti androgen binds to the hormonal receptor sites on the follicles, and prevents the binding of DHT. Its "affinity" to those receptor sites is much stronger than that of the hormones, making it very effective. This is why RU58841 holds a great deal of promise as a hairloss treatment. Lack of financial potential is probably the reason for the limited extent of research done on it so far. As long as there is no substantial amount of research conducted, it is unlikely it will become widespread and easy to find. Getting a hold of it at this time is very difficult, and those who succeed pay a great deal of money for it. In the Research and studies section there is reference to research that tested the effectiveness of RU58841 in macaque Androgenetic Alopecia, and the pictures in it practically speak for themselves.

Faitheagle is a Chinese lab that produces RU5881 by order:www.faitheaglepharm.com.

"hard to find" and "expensive" wouldn't stop any of the people on these boards, so I assume that those that did get a hold of some found it not to be as effective as these studies say it should be?

What's the story on it?

Think you should hold off and do some research. I'm sure some people must have used it and reported results (or lack thereof). We just have to find them.

What are you referring to? RU58841? Do you SERIOUSLY think that RU is "snake-oil"?? Have you read ANY of the RU studies that are available? Every indication from very serious researchers is that RU58841 is quite possibly the most effective topical antiandrogen ever developed, but you're willing to dismiss it out-of-hand as "snake-oil"??

Many people on another hair loss site recieved a big batch of RU from a reputable supplier (Faith Eagle) awhile ago and the results they reported were disappointing.

Assuming RU is the real deal, perhaps it's effectiveness lies in the ideal vehicle for delivery.

like alchohol? we're not supposed to judge a product based on opinions from 'some other' web site. RU sounds promising to me.
