Too many topicals ... what order? Hehe.

Okay I've got a bit over-enthusiastic and bought too many topicals. I don't like the systematic effects of finasteride so I'm going to try topical spironolactone instead. I also have minoxidil, folligen and emu oil.

My plan is this (applied in this order)...

Morning... minoxidil, Folligen

Night... spironolactone, minoxidil, Folligen, Emu Oil (wait 5min between applications)

Are these topicals going to screw with each other? I know spironolactone and minoxidil mixed together render each other useless, but this reaction is supposed to take place over many hours. I've read it's safe to apply them one after the other. My question is, wouldn't this reaction still take place under the skin hours after application? So instead of working all day the medicines will only work for a little while before reacting with each other?

Any help appreciated.

I've used spironolactone, minoxidil, and folligen together before so let me try to lend a hand.

The main question is do you use 2% liquid spironolactone, or the 5% cream.

If you use the 2%, then you should apply the 2% spironolactone, dabbing a very thin layer of it across your affected area. No need to get it all wet, just a slight moistening is ok. Then, apply the minoxidil. Let that sit as long as you can, an hour is best, a half hour is fine, then shpritz on the Folligen.

If you use the 5% spironolactone cream, the order changes. Apply the minoxidil first, and, give it an hour at best, or at least a half hour to sit in. Then, shpritz with Folligen, and then finish up with a dabbing of the cream.
