My family has a history of hairloss. My two brothers, father, grandfathers all have severly diffused hair loss. I started on propecia about 5 years ago (at 28) and have generally kept all my hair. It has receded a few centimeters, it has a very small area at the crown you can see my scalp, and I do notice that it is becoming more difficult to style my hair because of some thinning, but this is just me being picky and knowing what my hair used to be like.
My question: is it too early to start using rogaine? to attack it from all angles, to assure I keep and maybe even get a bit thicker. Or do I wait until I absolutely need it, which who knows maybe I'll stay like this for the long haul.
Im just looking for some advice from people who may have been in a similar situation.
