I've had a super slow hairline receding for 10 years I think. I've never had a straight hairline. It's always been higher one side since i was born.
The other side started thining maybe 7 years ago. Snail pace.
I've been on finasteride for 5 months now, 0.5mg a day and the left side seems to have lost all the light hairs and lost about 50% density in a triangle area on this part of my head and now have lots of short dark hairs, quite thick looking. Maybe thicker than the middle of my hairline.
Did anyone else have growth like this? Did you get more hairs come through over time? These hairs are apparent to me because I have long hair and these hairs are about a inch long now and stick straight out whereas the old hairs seemed to just be dry and wispy.
I'm hoping I get more hairs come through because a side parting with it looks too thin.
