ok im 20yrs old. 5months or so I noticed my hairline was thinning. 3months ago I started on propecia & nizoral. a month later I started using minoxidil on the hairline. anyway over the last 3weeks or so ive been getting scalp tenderness on the crown- like a sore or burning feeling. at first i didnt think much of it until I read that it was associated with thinning & male pattern baldness. the hair on my crown i also noticed is reluctant to style- it often doesnt know whether to stick up or to lie flat- another sign i didnt think was good. so my apologies before hand but all i have is a camera phone so the pictures i have are rather poor.

to be painfully honest, even with that HARSH lighting, your crown doesn't look in bad shape.. it's in great shape, to the point where i doubt you're even thinning there. :innocent:

Finasteride and Nizoral could easily handle your minor crown thinning, so I would say give it some more time before adding minoxidil there.

ok advice taken. my hairloss is in the early stages- like i said i only noticed frontal loss 5 months ago & on the crown over the last few weeks. ive been getting soreness there & the hair 'feels' somewhat different. i dont wana add minoxidil to the crown unless I really have to. im just worried that my propecia isnt working. bit of a dilemma really.

Should be, you still have a lot of hair, so maintaining what you have is key.
