Hey man I've been reading alot of your postings and I completely agree with you that copper peptides and spironolactone seem to be the best approach to hairloss after doing some intial research. Anyways I wanted to know how the results have been on the spironolactone? Also do you apply this all over your scalp or just in certain areas? I'm seriously considering spironolactone and staying with the folligen, but you seem to know alot about this spironolactone stuff and was wondering how your experience has been with it. Personally, I'm kinda aganist propecia and spironolactone seems the best option to fight aganist DHT. Thanks take it easy. You also get it through http://www.minoxidil.com right? Any side effects with the stuff? Any worries with using it as far as causing tumors on the scalp, etc?? I heard something about it spurring the growth of tumors don't know if there is any merit to that though. see ya

Like ive said, topical 2% spironolactone has worked as well as the best results ive seen for propecia-moderate regrowth-and it took just 3 months. I just apply it to the top of my head 1X or 2X/day, and just the horse shoe part of the head that is normally affected by male pattern baldness.

I'm not really that keen on using propecia for myself either, and have decided to go completely topical. Even if I did take propecia, I would also want to use the spironolactone since spironolactone is the most potent androgen receptor blocker available-blocking up to ~ 80% of the receptors. spironolactone is a good alternative for those not wanting to use finasteride.

There are no known side effects to topical spironolactone, and ive certainly seen nothing relating it to cancer.
