To Buzz or not to Buzz

Ok just starting all the serious treatments now hair has got bad over last few weeks ( had good hair to Norwood 1 6 months ago) to pont it now showing how bad. I would say a NW3 with patchy diffused thinning behind to mid point but solid at crown area.

Getting very depresssed seeing hairline continually move back and overall thinning so think it could be time to buzz/shave it. This will take it off my mind and allow topical treatments on more easily..if it grows thicker then grow the lot back if not then remain shaved.

What would you do?

I'd say buzz it. It will help with applying topicals, you'll see if the treatment is working faster and you will be less stressed about your hair. If you see you are balding buzz it ASAP. It's the most efficient way of reducing anxiety in one quick step.

I second that. If you don't think you can go through with buzzing it, you may want to consider having it cut as close is they can get with scissors. I keep having it cut shorter every time I go. I feel so much better about the whole situation when my hair is shorter.
