Hello! Quick background~ started losing my hair when I was 15. Been a 6-7 year battle, and I guess I consider myself lucky that I've got what I do after hearing many 'shed-nightmare' stories.
In my youth, I've tried Propecia, Procerin, and some vitamin supplements (like zink and biotin or something.) Mainly I was attracted to shampoos, since the idea of using Rogain as a teenager scared me more than Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Anyway, I just purchased some Provillus, after reading lots of good reviews on the web. I meant to buy just the herbal supplement pills, but got the topical solution too. Minoxidil 5%.
A few years back, I bought a bottle of minoxidil 2%, but hid it in my dresser for 2 years, never brave enough to try.
Should I do it? It seems there exists a plethora of bad-experiences, and only a few good ones, which themselves look like "hired-yes-men" from the companies to increase sales and whatnot.
I'm just afraid that if I start, then I will be chained down. Minox4life club. As Elaine from Seinfeld put it: "Clinging to scraps." Any advice?
(Besides manning up and swallowing some self-confidence pills and trusting God.) As the good book says: Pray like everything depends on Him, then get up and work like everything depends on you.
