"Proof of Concept in clinical trials is the next value adding milestone toward clinical application and commercial use."

So how many years are we looking at before approval/implementation. If Pilofocus is any comparison, it could be some years off!

i hate to say it, but i think this is going nowhere. the microfollicles from team lauster/lindner were first shown in 2011 already but not much has happened since then. while dr. beren atac gave those fancy presentation at the hair congress, and claimed several advancements, they still haven't figured out many issues. retaining gene expression while multiplying the cells is not yet solved. it's not even solved 100% by tsuji although he and his team are the most progressed so far.

all in all i think it's a kind of a desperate situation to find investors and keep the thing running for a few more years, hoping for the best.

i personally believe team lauster/lindner is dead when it comes to hair follicle research. they are nowhere as close as tsuji.

maybe the admin could get an interview with dr. lindner himself, to clarify the situation. probably we will hear something like 5 more years or so.
would also be interesting what lindner has to say about tsuji, and about the general idea in investing into faster research in japan. lindner has to understand that research in europe or in the US, with the usual 10 year timeframe is absolutely unacceptable.

How do you know that they still haven't figured it out these issues , did you contact lauster on the phone about this ? In fact you are talking about the company with zero information about their progress and no don't think they will throw all their secrets online my dear !

Great news to start off the new year :)
Grt new indeed
i wud have supported hair transplant only if it had been non-invasive and non-scarring.
it's hard to tell right now whether replicel, histogen and others will work.
but i think we can have a smart hair transplant within a few years.
and that wud be a lot for us.
it will be like curing the baldness up to 60%.

Sorry to disappoint you... But they haven't been working on the cloning thing for a long time, because they never got funded.
Ask Hellouser, he will throw a chair at you.

https://www.tissuse.com/en/news/press-releases/

Right now they are working on a multi organ chip, which allows to test unlimited substances at the same time in human tissue.
Which is not bad either, because once fully operational it will speed up drug development incredibly.

It's possible that something is going on behind the curtain, though. If Tsuji succeeded he had the monopoly on organ regeneration. Once he proves it's possible, funding will stream into the industry like crazy.

How many c*** tease things will happen. I mean all we got is finasteride and rogaine in the entire history of male pattern baldness and those can have srs side affects. Annoying af

Admin and people happy new year! NEWS in my Inbox mail from Dr. Reyk Horland about SHT (smart hair transplants):

“Thank you very much for reaching out to us and for your interest in our SHT technology. SHT allows the generation of new hair growth inducing Neopapillae from very few hair biopsies. Currently it is envisioned to generate 10.000 new hair follicles out of 30 original hair follicles. We hope to start the first limited clinical trials in 2017/2018. It will take approx.. 1 1/2 years to complete these first trials.
We will also issue a press release at the start and the end of the clinical trials which you will find our website.”

The year couldn't have started better. This + Replicel 5 years data.

why do you say within few years? if they are only starting phase 1 in 2017/2018? it takes like 5 years minimum to go form phase 1 to commercial product? or am i wrong?

Gonna quote my dam methaphor again. The more water comes out of the cracks the more inevitable is a breakthrough.

It takes 5 years in theory. 10 years in reality.

The WCHR2017 is going to be interesting. The best would be if they had to cancel it off course, calling it off due to a cure has magically become available on market.
The second best would be to get proper info from the few select scientists around the globe who are working on solving this sh*t.
