This may be a very dumb question but I'm going to ask it

At 22 I can't really grow a beard or a thick mustache, I get grizzly hairs under the chin and thin sideburns overtime, but nothing really grows significantly. Now I am also experiencing hair recession and am on Xandrox and spironolactone for the second month ( starting to see some fuzz below current hairline so I'm a little excited ) but in general how is dht linked with facial hair, and is it just a sign that my hair is growing less and less rapidly? It's not that i care about facial hair just find it weird I don't grow alot of it for this age. I also notice the sides of my hair dont grow out as thick anymore or take a long time to but yeah I'm losing it so it makes sense. Sigh.

I'm almost 25 and I can't grow a proper beard either, just something that looks like a 5 o'clock shadow from up close. My beard hairs are almost white so it's not a pretty sight anyways. The thickest bit of beard grows under my chin haha...

Yeah, I'll be 26 soon and also can't grow a beard or moustache... The hairs that grow are tiny, like vellus hairs, and also grow in an awkward shape. I think it's a good thing. I'm not a big fan of facial hair at all unless it suits the person. I always laugh at people who try and grow it when they can't... It looks silly.

I feel sorry for one of my mates - he's been shaving every 2 - 3 days since he was about 13... That's really harsh - he's like a gorilla - he's got thick body hair EVERYWHERE!!! Sucks to be him...
