*I'm on Duta + minoxidil 5%

Thank you guys

Dermaroller in combination with topical antiandrogen like RU, spironolactone, etc. Or for better results (and higher risks of sides) systemic antiandrogens like spironolactone or cypro. You should find your effective dosage (for me it is 50mg spironolactone ed and 6.5mg cypro eod). Your hair is good right now, I think Norwood 2 with a good density, so you don't need high dosages of systemic AA.

you only have 1 chance getting a NW1 back and that is taking spironolactone or some other drug used by transgenders to totally annihilate your hormones. This regime is the only one I have seen legitimately grow hair back on bare temples into a NW1. I high recommend not doing this.

You have density coming out of your ***, imo you're being too greedy and the fact that your on dutasteride ensures maintenance for 10+ years.

Unless you're looking to grow breasts and f*** up your whole mental state, there's always CA, spironolactone and estrogen.

I do see some recession, and I dont know how easy that is to really reverse. If your on dutasteride your doing everything you really can honestly and you caught it really early on too. Give the dutasteride at least 1 year or more and see how it goes. Nothing else to try really unless you get into ridiculous stuff like internal spironolactone or something
You could add topical RU or something experimental

I don't want no feminizing drug, but is RU safe?

I mean, what's the daily dose, how much does it cost and what can give me more given that I'm already on Duta and minoxidil? Is it really worth?

First, I don't want no feminizing drug, also is RU really worth it?

What's the daily dose, how much does it cost, is it safe AND, especially, does it give somebody who's already on Duta and Minoxidil good results?

Anyway why you said Duta ensures maintenance for 10+ years? You mean I'll lose my hair after 10 years regardless of still being on Duta?

when I first posted on these boards there was a lot of hype around RU. IIRC that hype has died down somewhat. I don't know where it stands today in the lineup of treatments but I do know that noone knows if it is safe long term. It is not FDA approved and noone has been on it long enough to know what the long term side effects may be.

At this point RU is just a cope for people who can't use finasteride or dutasteride. BUT it may help in maintaining according to some users on the board. You're using the best treatment available right now.

And to your duta question I was implying that you def don't have to worry about your hair for 10+ years, could be 15, could be 25. But you can EASILY maintain for 10 years imo

Will it lose its efficacy?
