i'm 18 and my hair has been weird the pst few months. When i first started "losing" hair i noticed that my i had almost bald spots on the side of my head and sideburns. the reason i put "losing" . is because i posted here before wondering if i had male pattern baldness or not and most people said that i don't have a prob and i shouldn't post here. but tell me what you think il add pics. also i've had these "bald spots" since mid july. and i still don't know if i am balding. ive been noticing hair falling since july . but no one notices cuz my hair is long. i wouldn't say i lose more than 40 a day. and please don't get offended by me posting. i genuinely need advice because my parents won't send me to a doctor. also i feel like where my hair parts on the side of my head is thinning too idk

That's very likely just your normal density? My sides have always looked similar.

Either way I don't think you're balding. Maybe you've lost a small bit of density because of a change in diet or something, but no signs of balding. There's also no need to be worried in my opinion because if you are balding you will notice soon anyways, and you will still have caught it extremely early.

Thank you for the response! I really appreciate it. I will update if i notice anything progressing (crossing my fingers that it doesn't). Cheers!

obvious from that very first pic ur not balding, you have insane density and strong hairline. That little gap may have appeared because of skull growth, the areas between beard and scalp follicles could have separated.

Just a word of caution I advise you to monitor future hair loss but don't become obsessed. My sides began thinning before anything else, I had a full thick high density nw1 but my sides started thinning a bit at age 22, and only by age 26 my temples started balding which was the first sign of true balding.

Am I the only one who thinks his temple points have started thinning/receding?

i remember when i used to cut my hair short when i was 13-16 years old. i used to be very insecure cuz i had thinner areas of hair on my head. it looked like i had parts where hair didnt grow. so how my temples are in that pic is how they've been for a while.

You're not balding. I've noticed that a lot of women have "thinner" sides like that too, so it's normal.

Ok, good for you :). I am not really an expert, just asking.
