Thinning Of Hair Or Retardation Of Brain?

hi,

going through some photos for my derm visit does this look like thinning near the temple area, or what?

Haircut = short on sides long on top.

Definetly a retard but you're not balding. Next time, tell your barber not to reshape your temples because once it starts growing back it'll look even thinner compared to what it looked like before.

Appreciate your honesty... honestly man this sh*t has borderline started to ruin my life.. i spend upwards of 3:4 hours examining my hair everyday, it all started this time last year when i saw my temple didn’t look right... when i compare to my photos as a kid if for sure looks different a bit. i just don’t want to lose anymore then i’m at or i might just get hit by a bus...

Last year I spent atleast 3 hours a day looking at my hair, halfway through a film or a tv episode I would pause it and start looking at my hair. First thing I did was put all the photos of my hair in a location that is hard to access and then I stopped examining my hairline whenever I washed my hair. Now the obsession has come back but I'm trying my best to get rid of it.

If you think your thinning chances are you probably are. You know your hair better than anyone of these forum members...so go see a derm and get an educated decision.

Even if you think youre thinning and you are in fact thinning, the derm wont see it unless he runs tests on u or something. I was the same when I first got here and people told me i have BDD. No derm will prescribe you fina at your current state though
