Thinning Hair - Will Clipping It Short, Highlight The Problem Further?

As the title suggests, my hair is going quite thin on top - theres still lots of it but its at the point where you can see the scalp quite easily if you look (mainly when I'm under a light) - its not so bad when I let it get a little longer

At the moment I have a bit of a quiff going on, but I have been thinking of just clipping it pretty short in preperation for the inevitable, kinda like Jake Gyllenhal's hair in the movie Southpaw

Will this just highlight the problem further though and make the hair look patchy? And am I better off holding on until more starts to fall away?

Best solution for you : Finasteride. Works fine on the vertex.
