hey guys, i have taken pics of my crown today , and it looks really bad . I don't understand , i have been on propecia since i am 21 yo , and when i started my crown was perfect .
i thought it could be some thyroid issue , because it is diffusing , but i got my result and my thyroid is fine .

Do you think stress can cause diffuse crown ? or it is mainly telogen effluvium ?
this is insane propecia should work perfectly on the crown ,given the fact i strated it with a perfect crown .

and i don't want to apply minoxidil to my crown

you know i am reassured to know that i havent got thyroid disease . But that means the diffuse crown is only AAG related, so the only solution is propecia . But i was previously on it so wtf!!!

You post around this forum constantly about how Finasteride didn't work for you. I think you should at least post some before/after pictures... it's probably not as bad as you think...

i didn't have before pics cause i deleted it stupidly , it was 2 years ago , but maybe the hairline is a little worst.
But man for the crown this is insane . when i started propecia i don't even know you could lose hair on crown ^^my Doctor told me i had perfect hair , just recede temple , and now i have some diffuse crown .
I hope this is not because of constant stress . My twin brother never stress about his hair and have perfect density , just receded temple

Do you have shedding (that you see), how old are you now, and there are also other reasons for hair loss (not only thyroid)

no i don't shed that much hair . I am only 23 and started propecia at 21 with perfect crown . I am obsessed abut my hair and think about it all the days . I thought propecia would help me but no

You and your brother would be perfect test subjects to prove that finasteride can actually accelerate hair loss.

i don't think finasteride accelerate my hairloss actually , maybe stress . Because my brother was on propecia for 2 years too . and he has stopped 6 month ago , but he still have a perfect crown .

i just don't find the cause for this crown thiining , this is not thyroid , and for the aag , propecia is the only treatment and i have been on it with perfect dht protected crown hair . So i don't know how it could happened to me
