I've been taking fincar (cut into 4ths) for 6 months now and I haven't noticed any results or side effects. So I'm thinking of switching to a topical solution (Promox) because (a) my suspicions that I'm using fake fincar are growing and (b) assuming I have just been popping sugar pills for 6 months, I'd like to try topical finasteride before going to the real thing, because if it works, I won't have to worry about sides at all.
So has anyone used Promox before? The one I'm looking at is a lotion with 15% minoxidil and 0.1% finasteride. I can't find any info on what non-active ingredients it has.
