I've been using minoxidil for 5 + months now, and went through a bad shedding phase early on. I stuck with it though, as I had heard that it was normal. Fast forward to now, when the vast majority of people are saying that I should be at least seeing new hairs grow in (and I haven't), and I'm going through another bad shedding phase. I've started to wear hats to cover up the thinning/balding. I'm only 23 and the hair loss wasn't all that bad in retrospect before I had started minoxidil, especially after a year plus of finasteride helping regrow some areas I had lost. Should I stick with minoxidil and finasteride or just go back to using solely finasteride?
